The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for a welcoming and memorable dining experience. This role requires friendliness, organization, and teamwork to ensure smooth operations at the front door and dining room. As a Host/Hostess at Nick's, you'll greet and seat guests, manage reservations, assist with food running, and help maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant. Requirements

• A friendly, welcoming personality with strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage and maintain reservations on a digital platform.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to assist in various FOH tasks as needed.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Stand and walk for extended periods (6-10 hours per shift).
• Navigate a busy dining area while maintaining a welcoming and professional demeanor.
• Lift and carry small trays, menus, and other materials weighing up to 20 lbs.
• Perform repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, and handling seating charts or reservation systems.
• Engage with guests and team members in a lively, high-energy atmosphere.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities
