About The Position

We are currently seeking a host/hostess to join our team. We are looking for friendly, energetic, highly motivated people who thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment. Goals To greet guests with genuine enthusiasm and hospitality. Inform guests with estimated wait times . Input guests information into reservation system properly. Show guests to their tables and take any initial drink orders. Bid guests a warm farewell when they depart. Performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glass, menus etc. Ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked and orderly . Reporting on time and in proper uniform, always clocking in and out as required of all employees. To promote teamwork within the restaurant creating a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in full-service restaurant is preferred however not required.
  • Display a confident and professional appearance.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well with a team.
  • Ability to exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to 6-8 hours per shift, all the while maintaining a fun and positive attitude.
  • Must be able to carry about 35lbs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate on the telephone.
