Requirements

Excellent communication, hospitable, and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, punctual, and dependable.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule; including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Frequently lift and carry up to 25lbs; occasionally lift and carry up to 35lbs.
Remain on feet, standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
One year of prior customer service and/or hospitality experience, country club setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcoming members and guests by name, while maintaining a confident and approachable appearance to create rapport with those dining.
Booking reservations for all a la carte outlets and responding to all inquiries in a timely manner.
Suggests and describes available appetizers, entrees, desserts, alcoholic beverages, and wines to members and guests.
Assures that all safety, accident and emergency policies and procedures are in place and consistently followed.
Inspects dining room to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
Assures that pre-opening and closing cleaning tasks are completed as required.
Assists with table clearing and re-setting as needed.
Enforces established rules, regulations, and policies.
Suggestively sells daily specials to all members and guests.
Assures that local and state laws and the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
