About The Position
As a Host/Hostess at the Schaffer's Mill, you will be the first point of contact for our members and guests, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail will help create a friendly and inviting atmosphere that reflects the high standards of our country club.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a host/hostess or customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of dining etiquette and country club operations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome members and guests as they arrive.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests.
- Maintain a clean and organized entrance and dining area.
- Provide menus and inform guests of specials and promotions.
- Answer phone calls and take reservations with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist with seating and accommodate special requests from guests.
- Collaborate with the dining staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Uphold the country club’s standards of hospitality and professionalism.
