About The Position
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Host/Hostess to join our team at Gozen Japanese Restaurant in Visalia, CA. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host/Hostess will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional service. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for hospitality. The Host/Hostess will be responsible for greeting guests with a warm welcome, managing reservations, and efficiently seating guests. Additionally, the role involves answering phone calls, assisting with inquiries or reservations, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area. Collaboration with servers and kitchen staff is essential to ensure smooth operations and provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' needs promptly. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities, with expected hours ranging from 16 to 35 hours per week. The pay rate is competitive, ranging from $16.00 to $16.50 per hour, depending on experience.
