  • Leads, monitors and audits all activities for patient meal service on nursing units.
  • Administers established policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Communicates effectively with staff, nursing personnel and patients.
  • Monitors compliance with all quality standards and procedures by staff within assigned area.
  • Coordinates operational tasks and resolves problems to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Coordinates activities and problem resolution with nursing staff and patients, serves as liaison to ensure satisfaction with services.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge in hosting & reception.
  • Novice proficiency in food services supervision.
  • Intermediate customer service skills.
  • Fundamental awareness of medical terminology and documentation.
