Levy at Toyota Center, home of the Houston Rockets, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Hosts/Hostesses to join our team for the 2022-2023 Rockets season and various concert events. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable dining experience. As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing the flow of the dining room, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with food-service associates to maintain high standards of service and sanitation, contributing to the overall success of our dining operations. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, warmly welcoming them and directing them to their tables based on availability or their preferences. Your role will also involve supervising food-service associates to ensure that customer service and food handling procedures are adhered to. You will assist in training new team members, ensuring they understand the importance of providing excellent service and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for closing the dining room at the end of service, ensuring that all side work and station setups are completed properly. You will also need to demonstrate knowledge of emergency safety procedures, assisting in the safe evacuation of guests in case of an emergency. This position may require you to assist with food service and bussing, while always adhering to safe food handling and sanitation standards. You will also have the opportunity to operate various equipment, including fire extinguishers and beverage machines, as needed.
