Manages patient satisfaction/productivity, food costs, food service, and staff roles.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to compute math to adjust recipes and feedings.
  • Knows medical abbreviations.
  • Knows recipes, menus, and production sheets.
  • Understands strict recipe compliance.
  • Understands supplemental feedings and diets.

Responsibilities

  • Distributes patient orders for supplemental and enteral feedings/snacks.
  • Ensures patient satisfaction and safety thru timely delivery of food to comply with HACCP time-temperature principles.
  • Maintains par levels of food/beverages on patient units.
  • Modifies patient's selections in compliance with fluid and/or diet restrictions.
  • Prepares hot/cold foods to properly, thickened consistencies and/or textures per dysphagia levels.
