The Host Homes Pilot Project Manager is the primary leader for a youth-facing and volunteer-facing Host Homes pilot project anticipated to operate for at least 12 months between fall 2025 and fall 2026. This position would represent the program within the community, supervise staff working directly with youth placed in the Host Homes pilot project, facilitate and primarily coordinate volunteer engagement, and act as a secondary leader within the Oasis Youth Shelter program located in Mount Vernon. The Host Homes pilot project is an new program type operated by the Skagit Valley Family YMCA as part of Skagit County's Communities for Functional Zero (C4F0) movement. Through a generous community donation, this project is guaranteed funding for one year, and therefore the role is only guaranteed for a temporary period of time. However, the Skagit Y and C4F0 teams are actively seeking additional funding to convert the pilot project into a permanent program operated by the Skagit Y by 2026.
