Social Restaurant & Bar is seeking an enthusiastic Host to join our team and provide exceptional service to our guests. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our patrons, greeting and seating them while ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our restaurant is known for its casually upscale dining experience, and we pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy interacting with customers, and possess strong communication skills. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the dining ambiance and ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall dining experience. This includes providing information to help guests with their food and beverage selections, preparing the dining area by setting tables and decorations, and responding to any additional patron requirements. You will also conclude the dining experience by acknowledging the guests' choices and inviting them to return. As a Host, you will be expected to work evenings and weekends, standing for extended periods, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Your responsibilities will also include answering phone calls, taking reservations, and assisting with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
