About The Position

Dire Wolf Tavern is part of the Serenitee Restaurant Group, a local collection of creative, community-focused restaurants across the North Shore. At Dire Wolf, we blend great food, craft cocktails, and genuine hospitality to create a one-of-a-kind experience for guests.

We’re looking for friendly, engaging, and energetic team members to join our front-of-house crew!

As a Host / Food Runner, you’ll be the first and last impression for our guests. You’ll ensure every visit begins with a warm welcome and ends on a positive note — all while helping the servers and bartenders keep things running smoothly.
This is an ideal position for someone looking for part-time, flexible hours, especially during lunch shifts.

Requirements

• Must be 16 or older
• Flexible availability. Lunch, dinner, weekends
• A friendly, positive, and professional attitude
• Great communication and multitasking skills
• Comfort working in a busy, team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

• Prior restaurant or customer service experience helpful — but not required!

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests with genuine warmth and hospitality
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
• Deliver food and drinks to tables; assist servers when needed
• Clear and reset tables quickly and neatly
• Answer phones and assist with takeout orders
• Keep the host stand, entryway, and service areas clean and organized
• Help ensure each guest has a comfortable, enjoyable experience
