About The Position

The Tempo New York Times Square is looking for a part-time Host(ess) to join our team. This stunning property features 661 rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, offering views of the city and lights of Times Square. The sky lobby, located on the 11th floor, includes communal working spaces as well as a fitness center and hydration station. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role at a similar size property or restaurant, experience working with Resy, and full availability on nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift Pattern: 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Sunday and Monday, other days may be required Pay Range: $27.32 - $36.42 / hour What are the benefits of working with Hilton? What will I be doing? As a Host(ess), you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Responsibilities

Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs.
Seat guests and manage the seating chart.
Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
Perform opening and closing duties, as needed.
Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
Ensure knowledge of menu.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
