About The Position

The Host position at Bally's Shreveport is a full-time role focused on providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant casino environment. The host will engage with guests, handle requests and complaints, and promote gaming activities to enhance customer experience. This role requires a blend of interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Requirements

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or minimum one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

Nice To Haves

• TIPS certification
• Experience in a casino or hospitality environment

Responsibilities

• Handle customer requests, problems, and complaints.
• Entertain guests at special events.
• Develop new customers for Table Games and Slots.
• Maintain existing customer information.
• Obtain credit information to establish credit lines.
• Approve credit up to a designated amount established by Internal Controls.
