Requirements

• 0-2 years of related experience in a restaurant setting.

• Ability to accurately handle money and process credit card transactions.
• Strong menu knowledge and computer skills (POS system).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort them to tables.
• Monitor guests' needs and the flow of the restaurant, seating guests accordingly.
• Deliver the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests.
• Perform restroom checks, answer phone calls, and keep lobby, bakery, and retail areas clean.
• Practice safe food and beverage handling.
• Communicate and interact with guests, handling crowds and putting them at ease while they wait.
• Effectively handle guest complaints and involve a manager when necessary.
• Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately accounting for all receivables.
• Assist in marketing and promotional services, communicating new promotions to guests.
• Clear, sanitize, and set tables as needed.
• Manage guests' wait times by quoting accurate wait times in collaboration with managers.
• May be asked to assist in other job categories as needed.
