About The Position

Perkins American Food Co. is seeking a Host/Cashier who will be the first and last impression for our guests. This role involves greeting every guest with a prompt and friendly welcome, ensuring a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive. The Host/Cashier will also be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the restaurant, including managing the waitlist, selling merchandise, and maintaining cleanliness in the host station and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• No experience is required. Prior host/cashier experience is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests upon arrival, maintaining a waitlist as needed
• Sells merchandise including gift cards and bakery items
• Ensures the host station and other areas stay clean and stocked throughout the shift
• Takes and packages to-go orders, ensuring accuracy of the orders, and takes payments from guests
• All other duties as assigned
