About The Position
The Host/Cashier position supports the F&B Supervisors/Restaurant Manager by greeting and seating guests, handling money transactions for products and services, managing server station rotation, overseeing wait times, clearing tables, and processing check transactions. The role aims for optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximizes profits by performing assigned duties. This position will not involve any functions related to casino gambling by patrons.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and seating guests as they enter or exit the restaurant
- Handling money transactions as payment for product and services provided in the restaurant
- Managing server station rotation
- Managing wait times
- Clearing of tables
- Processing check transactions
- Obtaining optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximizing profits by performing assigned duties personally or through subordinate staff
