About The Position

Founded in 1975 as Hospital Housekeeping Systems, HHS now provides industry-leading support services to nearly 1,000 customers in healthcare, aviation, education, government, hospitality, and senior living. We are currently seeking housekeepers, Patient Ambassadors, Cooks, and Dishwashers in your area starting at $18/hr. AM and PM shifts available Weekend availability We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our housekeeping team! Provide a superior level of cleaning quality in a hospital environment. Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where patients can heal. Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
  • Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
  • Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements
  • Applicants must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, healthcare)

Responsibilities

  • Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
  • Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
  • Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
  • Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
  • Prepare, cook, and portion hot and cold food items according to standardized recipes
  • Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, steamers, and slicers
  • Follow proper food handling, temperature control, and storage procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of cooking stations, equipment, and prep areas
  • Ensure meals meet dietary restrictions, consistency standards, and hospital nutrition guidelines
  • Accurately label, date, and rotate all food items to maintain freshness
  • Collaborate with dietary and clinical staff to support patient dietary needs
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal
  • Deliver and collect patient menus promptly
  • Stocking, cleaning, and maintaining an organized work area
  • Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal service
  • Adhere to all facility health, food safety, and sanitation procedures
  • Assist team members and management as needed to ensure efficient department operations
