About The Position

Team members in this role are expected to be flexible, working in two or more locations and fulfilling two or more department roles as assigned by leadership. These roles include Environmental Services Tech, Nutrition Services Tech, Patient Transport, Supply Chain Material Coordinator, and Receptionist. The specific position will be defined by the department as needed, and individuals must meet the requirements of the job profile they are fulfilling. Senior Hospitality Techs are responsible for maintaining shift accountability for support services team member duties efficiently and cost-effectively. They also provide training to new and existing Support Services staff on departmental procedures, expectations, and all quality, safety, and customer service standards. This position is an integral part of the patient care team, aiming to enhance the patient's experience by ensuring a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • Customer service and/or other related experience
  • 6 months of relevant experience Leadership Experience

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Patient Transport (90 Days preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Work as a team member helping others to contribute to the overall success of Corewell Health.
  • Refer to the job profile of the duties being performed.
  • Communicate effectively with all hospital staff, visitors, patients/residents to ensure the highest level of customer service and care, including greeting and assisting in hospital navigation.
  • Create a positive impact on the patient's experience by providing a safe, clean, and visually appealing environment.
  • Complete special projects as assigned, with specific direction.
  • Provide training and ongoing instruction to new and existing Support Services staff.
  • Act as team lead during uplines absence and report work-related issues to upline.
  • Assign, coordinate, inspect employee work assignments, and complete quality assurance inspections.
  • Ensure that services are provided in accordance with state and federal regulations, accreditation and compliance requirements, and organizational policy.
  • Navigate between campus locations to support needed operations.
