As a Hospitality Team Member at Tender Greens, you are responsible for achieving our mission of providing each guest with a truly wonderful experience. You will act as a brand ambassador and deliver exceptional hospitality and service. This includes greeting guests in a friendly manner, assisting them with placing orders, taking telephone orders, mastering menu knowledge, making and serving beverages, delivering food, and maintaining a clean and inviting space. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and exemplifying the company culture by working as a team to achieve company goals.

  • Act as a brand ambassador and deliver exceptional hospitality and service.
  • Greet guests in a friendly manner and ensure they are served quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Assist guests with placing orders by guiding them through the menu and processing payments.
  • Take telephone orders and prepare take out orders.
  • Master and maintain menu knowledge, including food restrictions and popular dishes.
  • Make and serve fresh non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
  • Deliver food to guests and refill drinks quickly and accurately.
  • Engage guests in light conversation when appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean and inviting space for guests by clearing and sanitizing tables.
  • Uphold restroom cleanliness and restock supplies.
  • Set up, stock, clean, and maintain all service stations.
  • Understand and comply with safety policies and standards.
  • Practice safe food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Support other areas of the restaurant as necessary.
  • Maintain a professional appearance according to the Company’s Uniform Policy.
  • Perform other job duties as assigned by Manager.
  • A warm, helpful, hospitable, and guest-focused nature.
  • Restaurant or retail experience is helpful, but not necessary.
  • Ability to approach work with a sense of fun while delivering outstanding results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • A high level of resourcefulness in solving problems and taking initiative.
  • Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.
  • Ability to comply with all company policies, processes, and standards.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs.
  • Food handler's card may be required according to local and/or state regulations.
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certification may be required according to local and/or state regulations.
