About The Position

The Staffing Support/Recruiter position at HiEmployment is a full-time internal role that plays a crucial part in ensuring excellent customer service for the company's major clients in the hospitality sector. This position reports directly to the Manager of Hospitality Staffing and offers a pay range of $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. The role requires open availability, as it involves early mornings, weekends, and nights. The primary responsibility of the Staffing Support is to assist the Hospitality Staffing Manager in various placement activities, which include selecting well-matched candidates to fulfill client job orders and maintaining ongoing contact with both client companies and temporary professionals. This ensures that both parties receive exceptional customer service, and any issues are resolved quickly to maintain high levels of satisfaction. In addition to placement activities, the Staffing Support will be involved in candidate recruitment and retention. This includes assisting with recruiting employees, completing new hire paperwork, and ensuring the accuracy and completion of documents. The role also requires data entry of new hire packets into employee databases, performing background checks, conducting drug tests, and assisting in hiring sessions. The Staffing Support will conduct phone screenings and initial interviews with potential candidates, as well as handle various HR responsibilities, including interviewing for harassment, discrimination, and employee work injury reports. The position also entails daily and weekly responsibilities such as answering and directing incoming calls, scheduling employee interviews, and providing employees with their schedules. The Staffing Support will review sign-in sheets and employee clockings for payroll accuracy, handle payroll inquiries, and conduct check-ins for employees on location. Monthly tasks include posting job ads on external job boards, attending hiring events, and performing inventory of office supplies and uniforms. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of related experience, a college education or relevant work experience, and a passion for servicing applicants, employees, and clients.
