About The Position

The Hospitality Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality and service to customers, aiming to turn them into California Chicken Café raving fans. This role involves maintaining a positive and friendly work environment, adhering to company core values, and delivering outstanding guest service. Key duties include taking guest orders, handling payments using the POS system, directing and assisting guests in the Drive-Up Service, delivering food to vehicles, and greeting guests upon arrival. The specialist is also tasked with maintaining a clean, sanitized, and properly stocked restaurant, and communicating any issues related to food quality, equipment, or the work environment. Adherence to all company policies and procedures is required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must attend and pass California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire
• Speak, read, and write English fluently
• Passionate about food and hospitality
• Friendly, upbeat, and cooperative
• Must pass Food Handler course and test in compliance with CA state law requirements
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of previous restaurant experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional hospitality to our guests
• Take guest orders and handle payments using the POS system
• Direct, greet and assist guests in the Drive-Up Service as well as deliver food to guests’ vehicles
• Greet guests with moments of humanity upon arrival
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and properly stocked restaurant
• Strong communication regarding any issues with food quality, equipment, and work environment
• Read and adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
