Shift Leaders direct each shift by guiding the team to provide genuine hospitality while maintaining a fast and accurate experience for every guest that comes through. Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older and out of high school
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Have the ability to lift and carry 25 pounds regularly
  • Have the ability to stand for long periods
  • Have 1 year of leadership experience
  • Become an expert in all FOH areas
  • Maintain 3 days a week (20 hours minimum) year-round
  • Able to work at least 2 Saturdays per month
  • Be able to open (5:30 AM start) or close (11:00 PM end)

Responsibilities

  • Provide genuine hospitality to guests
  • Honor and encourage others to follow the vision and values of the Restaurant
  • Multitask quickly, yet thoroughly
  • Be team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, with a strong work ethic
  • Communicate effectively with guests and Team Members
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Able to provide direction and delegation to all team members to ensure the shift runs smoothly
  • Manage detailed cash handling and reporting
  • Open or close the store safely

  • Focus on speed of service and accuracy
  • Assist in training new team members
