About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our hospitality properties. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of tasks, including painting, deep cleaning, preventative maintenance, and light equipment repairs, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems preferred.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in facility maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and equipment.
Conduct light repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and minor carpentry tasks.
Execute painting projects and deep cleaning as needed.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
Maintain records of maintenance activities and supplies used.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
