About The Position

The Hospitality Services Liaison promotes patient satisfaction by facilitating communication between patient/families, staff, physicians and Administration. Serves as a resource to communicate to departments within the Hospitality Services Division and needs of the patient families, staff or physician. Responsible for providing basic administrative and office support. Duties include answering telephones, fielding calls, greeting and directing customers in a professional manner, and a wide variety of general office duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Require three (3) years of previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Require proven interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written communication abilities with sound discretionary judgment.
  • HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer the knowledge of current software technology and applications used to generate job-related information at SMHCS.
  • Prefer decision making skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, family hospital staff, fellow workers and department management team.
  • Prefer the ability to perform basic PC skills for completing special projects and routine work.
  • Prefer the ability to be self-motivated, work independently and shift priorities with flexibility.
  • Prefer the ability to work on weekends, holidays and other shifts.
  • AD: Associate's Degree
