About The Position

Provides excellent customer service by accurately ringing up sales, receiving money, and giving back change to guests. Balances cash drawers and input in the POS at end of shift. Creates the "WOW" experience for guests of Quest. Performs high caliber customer service related to the front of house duties and interactions with students and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provides efficient, friendly and prompt service to the students/guest and staff.
  • Responsible for all accurate sales transactions.
  • Responsible to increasing impulse sales and upselling
  • Trains cashiers and FSW on proper customer service skills.
  • Collects sales data from POS to promote top selling items to increase sales.
  • Responsible for daily count of register drawer at the end of shift and posting to MealTime system.
  • Assists manager with replenishing change in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for daily inventory order placing for front of house including bakery, disposable and beverage.
  • Performs Opening / Closing responsibilities of unit as required.
  • Controls Marketing of lines, training and the gaining “Respect” of team members to reach these high standards.
  • Perfoms security checks for theft and document and record all theft.
  • Perform unit safety audits weekly/monthly.
  • Must maintain open and effective communications with management and staff, catering customers, school faculty and staff, and Quest corporate management and office personnel.
  • Communicates with Unit Manager on all issues.
  • Assists & oversees cash control, daily deposits, logs, vending revenue, and prepayments (cash and online purchases)
  • Assists in overall sanitation and organization of line and surrounding areas.
  • Maintains open, positive and effective communication with others.
  • Performs closing responsibilities, storing and cleaning of all line items and restocking all areas assigned.
  • Ensures that cashiers meet Quest standards for appearance and efficiency of the cashier station.
  • Maintains and develop relationships with clients, guests and staff during events by using their names whenever possible and anticipating their needs.
  • Completes all side job and sanitation duties as assigned by station.
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures of the business with the highest practical standards.
  • Follows all Quest policies and food safety guidelines.
  • Reports to scheduled shifts on time and in complete uniform.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
