Overview of the role We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our 13-week Hospitality Internship Program. This rotational internship offers hands-on experience across three key departments: Front Desk, Food & Beverage, and Sales. Interns will gain comprehensive exposure to hotel operations, guest services, and sales strategies, setting the foundation for a career in the hospitality industry.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Hospitality, Tourism, or related degree program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays
• Passion for learning about the hospitality industry and building a career within it
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to bend
• Ability to lift and pull 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate clearly

• Ability to drive/transport self and others
• Ability to travel on occasion for meetings

Responsibilities

• Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs using the hotel's Property Management System (PMS)
• Provide excellent customer service by answering guest inquiries and resolving issues
• Manage guest reservations, modifications, and special requests
• Assist with the handling of phone calls, emails, and other forms of guest communication
• Support the concierge team by offering local recommendations and coordinating guest activities
• Gain exposure to both front-of-house and back-of-house operations
• Assist with greeting, seating, and serving guests in the hotel restaurant or bar
• Learn and follow food safety and sanitation standards
• Support the preparation and execution of banquets, catering, and special events
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
• Assist the Sales & Marketing team in planning and executing promotional activities
• Support in coordinating site visits, events, and group bookings
• Learn how to generate business leads, conduct market research, and analyze competitors
• Assist with preparing sales presentations and proposals for potential clients
• Gain insight into sales reporting, revenue management, and client relationships
