About The Position

Education is one of the guiding Five Tenets of Biltmore Farms, and one of the most significant ways we demonstrate that value is through our offering of an exciting 10-week paid internship program in beautiful Asheville, North Carolina! Through the Biltmore Farms 2026 Hospitality Summer Internship , students with an interest in operations management and a knack for service will receive an immersive experience in the hotel Rooms division. Summer Interns will be provided learning opportunities with Hotel General Management. Additionally, participants will gain exposure to non-operational departments such as Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Human Resources. Biltmore Farms Hotels traces its culture of hospitality back to George Vanderbilt, and we are proud to carry on his legacy today. We offer a unique opportunity to not only connect with our special history, but also to learn about the culture and best practices of two Hilton brand hotels within our collection of franchised properties (Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park and DoubleTree by Hilton Asheville - Biltmore). In addition to gaining insight into these world-renowned brands, Summer Interns will receive brand-specific training in the following areas: Guest Engagement and Relations Guest Loyalty Programs Property Management Systems Digital Features and Services Current Trends and Hot Topics relevant to the Hospitality Industry With a dash of computer-based training and a good deal of hands-on experience with our dynamic hotel managers, Summer Interns will gain an understanding of the attributes necessary to become leaders in the hospitality industry. In addition to learning the intricacies of various hotel operations and supportive departments, Summer Interns will enhance and apply their skills in communication, time management, decision making, and teamwork. Requirements

  • All qualified candidates will be currently working toward or have recently completed studies in a related field, such as Management or Hospitality & Tourism.
  • Must demonstrate professional behavior with guests and co-workers at all times.
  • Understand interpersonal dynamics with guests and coworkers.
  • Possess multi-tasking skills.
  • Possess math skills and ability to solve problems quickly and correctly.
  • Able to anticipate guests needs, identifying problems, and reviewing information.
  • Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace and by guests who visit the workplace.
  • Able to concentrate and not be distracted while performing a task.
  • Requires finger agility, grasping, writing, constant standing, sitting, frequent walking, repetitive motions, visual insight.
  • On occasion may be required to lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to work with cleaning products as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel-related experience is a plus.
