About The Position

The FLIK Hospitality & Events Internship Program is a paid program that gives hospitality students the opportunity to work in a dynamic and inspirational hospitality culture. Working closely with hospitality mentors, FLIK interns have an inside look at what goes on behind the scenes at a leading food service & hospitality organization. The Summer Intern is responsible for supporting the conference and reception services team with all meetings and events taking place in the centers and lobbies. This person will partake in establishing a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere for all clients, executives, and staff members at all times. The Intern will assist with ad-hoc projects between Conference Services and Reception Services.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college or professional hospitality program and/or have 1 year of industry experience.
  • Meet university's GPA requirement for Internship.
  • Successful completion of relevant Intro to Hospitality coursework.
  • Available to work 20 - 40 hours a week based on business needs & internship requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • College credit is not required, but documentation can be provided if necessary.
