Bon Appétit Management Company operates more than 1,000 cafés around the country for corporations, universities, and museums, as well as a few dozen public restaurants. We’ve led the industry in socially and environmentally responsible sourcing, from sustainable seafood to cage-free eggs. We cook everything from scratch using fresh, local ingredients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree received by May 2026 or prior (required).
  • One year of culinary, customer service, hospitality work/internship experience.
  • Willingness to relocate for the right role or advancement opportunity.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen including profit and loss management, inventory, and cash handling skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with peers, employees, clients, and customers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Basic understanding of contract administration and client relations.
  • Basic knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, safety, and marketing.
  • Competency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Driver’s License (preferred, but may be required for certain roles).

Responsibilities

  • Gain preparation for a potential future role within the hospitality team leadership.
  • Learn best practices of the Compass Group sector.
  • Facilitate practices in areas including marketing, customer service, retail, merchandising, purchasing and supply chain, hiring, training, payroll, profit and loss.
  • Complete on-site, hands-on learning portion of onboarding and training experience.
  • Participate in Compass Group’s Accelerated Manager Program (AMP).
  • Take on managerial assignments in operational areas such as Café Management, Catering Management, Chef Management, Retail Management, Dining Services Management, Customer Service Management, Merchandising Management, Sous Chef.
