About The Position

The Hospitality Coordinator at the Gogue Performing Arts Center (GPAC) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and fulfilling the logistics and hospitality needs for visiting artists. This role involves managing contracts, ensuring smooth operations during events, and providing comprehensive support to artists and tour managers. The position is integral to enhancing the experience of performers and ensuring that all hospitality services are executed according to the established standards and budgets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, Arts Administration, Public Relations, Non-profit Management, or a closely related field.
  • Knowledge of event and hospitality planning and management principles.
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships and communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications in Windows and Mac environments, including event management software and Office 365 applications.
  • CPR and AED certification required within 180 days of employment.
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in event and hospitality management, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Experience in Arts Administration, Public Relations, Hospitality, or Non-profit industry.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and communicate with artists, managers, and vendors to provide hospitality services for performances.
  • Manage on-site catering, transportation, hotel accommodations, and other logistical needs for artists.
  • Collaborate with GPAC Administration on financial transactions related to artist contracts.
  • Implement day-of-show processes and procedures for performances and events.
  • Prepare post-event reports including feedback from artists and tour management.
  • Set up and break down artist spaces such as dressing rooms and green rooms.
  • Liaise with Operations and Production Departments to maintain cleanliness of artist spaces.
  • Track and maintain workflow of performance contracts and riders.
  • Purchase and maintain hospitality supply inventory for artists.
  • Assist with catering and setup for internal meetings and events.
