About The Position

The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including the ability to work on weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. The primary responsibilities include handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, maintaining quality and cleanliness standards throughout daily assignments, and adhering to house and safety rules, food handling procedures, and security protocols. Additional tasks include assisting with scheduled inventories, following maintenance programs and cleaning schedules, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
  • Food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome, greet and interact with guests in the breakfast and lobby area.
  • Responsible for the setup, service, maintenance, and breakdown of the breakfast bar line.
  • Prepare specified food items at the breakfast bar, replenishing food and assist in serving food from the breakfast bar line to the guests, courteously and efficiently in accordance with departmental quality standards and specifications.
  • Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
  • Observe all house and safety rules, food handling procedures, and security procedures.
  • Assist with inventories as scheduled.
  • Follow maintenance program and cleaning schedule.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
