About The Position

As a Host, your main objective is to warmly welcome and seat guests in a timely and professional manner, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience. You will also handle phone inquiries, take carryout orders, and bid guests a fond farewell upon departure.

Requirements

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
Time management and organizational skills for smooth operations.
Customer service expertise with a genuine passion for creating positive experiences.
Ability to remain calm, friendly, and enthusiastic even during busy moments.
Infectious smile and innate ability to breathe hospitality into every interaction.
Must have reliable means of transportation.
Ability to stand on your feet for up to 6 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, radiating warmth and hospitality.
Seat servers' sections in a balanced manner, following rotation whenever possible.
Guide guests to their tables and introduce them to their designated server.
Stay informed about table availability, both indoors and outdoors, for effective seating arrangements.
Efficiently manage the waitlist to ensure a smooth flow of guests.
Assist in light bussing and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
Foster clear communication with other hosts, servers, and managers.
Answer phone calls, handle carryout orders, and provide excellent service over the phone.
Express gratitude to guests for choosing our establishment and bid them a warm farewell.
