About The Position

The position provides support and assistance to the Nursing Department and staff at Cascadia Healthcare. All employees are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per each state’s specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Six months experience in a long-term care or hospitality environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Makes residents’ beds.
  • Labels resident clothing and belongings, completes resident inventory of belongings list.
  • Distributes personal and facility laundry.
  • Passes meal trays and offers basic tray set-up.
  • Serves food and busses dishes in the dining room.
  • Transports/escorts residents to areas within the facility, e.g. dining areas, activities, resident care conferences, etc.
  • Assists residents to interact with activity programming.
  • Stocks resident supplies.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
  • May perform duties as a front desk screener to include taking temperatures of all employees and visitors and asking screening questions as outlined by the CDC.
  • Grants health screen passes or denies entry as needed.
  • Cleans and sanitizes thermometers, pens, or other screening devices or supplies.
  • Monitors visitors waiting for screening to ensure proper distance is maintained.
  • May distribute personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards.
