The facility is seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join its expanding inpatient medicine team in Dothan, Alabama .   • Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care for adult patients
  • Perform daily patient rounding and create coordinated care plans
  • Admit patients from the emergency department and community practices
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions across a variety of complexities
  • Collaborate with specialists, intensivists, nursing teams, and case management
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and transitions of care
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an Internal Medicine residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Active Alabama medical license or eligibility to obtain
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking
  • Strong communication and teamwork capabilities
  • Ability to manage complex medical situations in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior hospitalist experience preferred but not required
