About The Position
Hospitalist Location: Shelton, Connecticut Employment Type: Full-Time | Day Shift Position Highlights: Full-time daytime hospitalist opportunity 7-on/7-off block schedule, 12-hour shifts Competitive base salary with quality and productivity bonuses Full benefits: health, dental, vision, 401(k), malpractice with tail coverage CME allowance and paid time off Relocation assistance if needed Role Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate care for hospitalized adult patients Admit, round on, and discharge patients in collaboration with specialists and nursing staff Respond to rapid responses and collaborate with the emergency department Ensure accurate and timely documentation through the hospital’s EMR system Participate in quality initiatives and hospital committees if desired Qualifications: MD/DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active Connecticut medical license (or ability to obtain) ACLS certification preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills Previous experience as a hospitalist preferred but not required Why Shelton, Connecticut? Requirements
- MD/DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active Connecticut medical license (or ability to obtain)
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical decision-making skills
