Swing/Admitting Shift Hospitalist – 100% Evenings – Willmar, MN
About The Position
Join a collaborative, patient-centered team at Rice Memorial Hospital, a 136-bed regional facility and the Southwestern hub of CentraCare. Practice in a modern inpatient setting with an on-campus outpatient surgery center, onsite pharmacy, lab, and procedure rooms. Comprehensive services include cardiac and pulmonary rehab, PT, OT, speech therapy, and regional outreach. Bedside procedures are optional, with opportunities to teach medical students and Family Medicine residents. Swing/admitting shift from 1-11 PM, covered by one provider Overnight currently covered by tele-hospitalist service (no overnight coverage expected) Flexible block scheduling utilized. 15 shifts/month considered full time CentraCare, a leading not-for-profit health system and one of the largest providers of rural care, serves patients across Central, West Central, and Southwestern Minnesota. It delivers nationally recognized care through 40+ medical and surgical specialties, innovative population health programs, and a collaborative physician–administration leadership model. CentraCare – Willmar serves as a multi-specialty hub, providing high-quality, convenient care close to home for patients throughout Southwestern Minnesota. The campus features Rice Memorial Hospital, a 136-bed regional facility, along with an outpatient surgery center and clinics offering primary, specialty, and ancillary services such as laboratory and imaging, comprehensive rehabilitation services, and is supported by a range of outreach programs. Requirements
- Medical Degree or Doctor of Osteopathy
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure
- Family Medicine applicants must have 2 years of hospital experience or a fellowship in Hospital Medicine
