About The Position

AdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a dynamic and energetic Part-Time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team at AdventHealth Tampa, working in partnership with AdventHealth for Children/Walt Disney Pavilion in Orlando. This position offers the opportunity to practice within a growing, collaborative network providing comprehensive pediatric care across Central Florida. Position Highlights: Provide pediatric admissions for our 15-bed Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit Support emergency department pediatric consults and participate in daily family-centered rounding Provide coverage in the Level I Newborn Nursery with the support of an Advanced Practice Provider Flexible schedule: approximately 7 twelve-hour shifts per month (days, nights, and weekends) On-site pediatric support includes: 28-bed Level III NICU with 24/7 Neonatologist coverage 5-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with intensivist coverage Pediatric surgery and medical specialty services available Candidate Requirements: Board Certification/Eligibility through the American Board of Pediatrics Strong teamwork, communication skills, and patient-centered approach Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary and occurrence-based malpractice coverage Paid leave, CME days and allowance, 403(b) retirement plan, health insurance (physician and family), and relocation allowance Employment through AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG), a sister organization of AdventHealth employing 700+ physicians in 60+ specialties.
