About The Position

We are seeking a part-time hospitalist to join our established program at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Qualified Candidates: Must be board certified in internal medicine or family medicine Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills Incentive/Benefits Package: Hospital employed position Competitive compensation A-rated occurrence based professional liability insurance Optimal staffing ratios with flexible and equitable scheduling options Be part of a supportive and energetic team Hospitalist Program Information: 10 and 12 hour physician shifts 16-29 patient visits/day for each hospitalist Dedicated nocturnists Closed ICU No procedures required About Portsmouth Regional Hospital: 220-bed acute care facility Level II Trauma Center 24/7 full-service ER 2 freestanding ERs 24/7 dedicated inpatient hospitalist program 24/7 dedicated inpatient intensivist program Internal medicine, family medicine, and psychiatry GME residency programs with Tufts University affiliation 30-bed inpatient psychiatric unit including 16 involuntary beds About our Community Portsmouth, NH, a seacoast city, sits near the mouth of the Piscataqua River, which divides the states of New Hampshire and Maine.
