The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being. Well established Hospitalist program since 2006, currently includes 18 physician & 1 ARNP team Care team support that includes 5 dedicated hospitalist RNs for care coordination and rounding efficiency + 1 CDE nurse Provider request driven schedule - flexible and accommodating Shifts available: Day shift rounding and swing shift; Night admitting and swing shift 15 Shifts per month = Full-Time status Excellent multi-specialty support Open ICU with intensivist availability to consult

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; Must be board certified within year of employment
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of State
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
• J-1 waiver sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Admitting/Rounding on medical/surgical patients 18-years of age and older (adult), & non-maternity
• Shifts available: Day shift rounding and swing shift; Night admitting and swing shift
• 15 Shifts per month = Full-Time status
• Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays - shared equally amongst group
