Hospitalist NP schedule is 5on/5off with 12-hour shifts 15, 12-hour shifts per month; 7a-7p No ICU coverage Specialists include: Ortho, Surgery, Podiatry and Wound Care

Requirements

Nurse Practitioner
Board Certified
Experience preferred
Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
Eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

Telehospitalist service overnight
No night shifts, no call, no procedures and ER runs codes
Blocked scheduling
Average census of 8 patients per NP with average of 2 admits/day
Physician support available via phone
