About The Position

Vassar Brothers Medical Center, part of Nuvance Health and now Northwell Health in Poughkeepsie, New York, located just 75 minutes north of New York City, is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner to join the Hospitalist team. This is an excellent employed opportunity at a large community hospital in a beautiful suburban NY location. Requirements

For newly graduated candidates, a strong inpatient nursing med-surg or critical care background is desired.
For practicing candidates, hospitalist experience or highly functioning outpatient experience is recommended.

Responsibilities

Responds to RRT and other in house emergencies such as Code Stroke, Code Sepsis, etc. (no Code Blue)
Discharge follow up calls including lab/test results and pharmacy calls
