About The Position
University of Maryland Saint Joseph Medical Center (UMSJMC) , a member of the University of Maryland Medical System and located in Towson, Maryland, has an excellent opportunity available for a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team. Job Specifics: Seeking an experienced hardworking, detail-oriented NP/PA who embraces a collaborative approach to patient care to join our new hospitalist APP team. This new model will be 24-7 geographically located APP coverage for our Hospitalist team. In-house nocturnist and intensivist support at night. Flexible weekend rotation NPs must be Acute Care-certified Leapfrog grade ‘A’, #1 Community Hospital in Maryland, US News and World Report
Requirements
- Master's Degree (Required)
- Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License (Required)
- 2 - 4 years’ previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant working in internal medicine preferably in a hospital setting (Preferred)
- Internal Medicine Training experience (Preferred)
- Strong Verbal Communications Skills
- Strong Written Communications Skills
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Basic Computer Skills
- Excellent Organizational Skills
- Strong Customer Services Skills
- Proven Analytical Skills
Nice To Haves
- 2 - 4 years’ previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant working in internal medicine preferably in a hospital setting
