About The Position

IHA, St. Mary Mercy Livonia and St. Joseph Mercy Livingston have an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a hospitalist group located in Livonia and Howell, Michigan. The selected Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will collaborate with the physician and other health care professionals to provide medical services including direct patient care, medical record documentation and follow-up care to IHA Hospital Medicine patients. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will operate within the standards of care and scope of practice as defined by the State of Michigan. The schedule for this opportunity is a 50/50 split between St. Mary Mercy Livonia and St. Joseph Mercy Livingston. This full-time opportunity will consist of working 1,880 hours per year and includes a mix of afternoons and nights.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited NP/PA program.
• NP/PA Certification.
• NP certification AGACNP, ACCNP, or DNP is required.
• State of Michigan License.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide medical services.
• Provide direct patient care.
• Document medical records.
• Conduct follow-up care for IHA Hospital Medicine patients.
• Operate within the standards of care and scope of practice as defined by the State of Michigan.
