Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for all new hires effective April 2014.
Knowledge of medical terminology, typing skills, calculator and/or ten-key adding machine.
Word processing, spreadsheet experience required.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in healthcare preferred, preferably in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

managing in patient flow
provider inpatient assignments
monitoring and supporting the coding and billing process for the hospitalist
managing compliance and timely completion
assists in shift transitioning
hub for hospitalist communication

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $21.00 to $26.25.
The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
