About The Position

Carle Health is seeking a Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Hospitalist team at Carle Health Proctor Hospital in Peoria, Illinois and Carle Health Pekin Hospital in Pekin, Illinois. This is a full-time dayshift opportunity working a 7on/7off schedule with hours from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The APP team collaborates with Hospitalist physicians to care for inpatients with a focus on admission support. The system is fully integrated with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination. Holiday shifts are required during shift weeks, up to half the legal holidays per year, with a shift differential for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Physician Assistant or Master's Degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty (ACNP).
• 1-year inpatient experience preferred.
• Current Illinois physician assistant license or registered nurse and advanced practice nurse.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Hospitalist physicians to care for inpatients.
• Focus on admission support for patients.
• Work a 7on/7off schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Participate in holiday shifts as required.
