About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our Pediatric Dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating appointments, managing schedules, and ensuring efficient operations within our clinic and local hospitals. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a medical and dental office setting.
• Proficiency in DENTRIX software is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Understanding of medical terminology, coding practices, and care plan development is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring optimal scheduling for both patients and our office.
• Utilize DENTRIX software for appointment scheduling and patient management.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions.
• Communicate with patients regarding their appointments, follow-ups, and any necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure that all scheduling needs are met efficiently.
• Maintain dental records as needed to support billing processes.
• Uphold confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations during all patient interactions.
