About The Position
While maintaining patient confidentiality conduct a courteous, professional interview with patients to gather and enter all demographic and insurance data into CAIS. Areas covered by this title within PAS are Admitting, Central Registration, Emergency Registration, Outpatient Registration at UHCC, Pre-Registration and 550 Harrison. The senior Registrar will assist the HPSC1 staff with any processes, questions or concerns in conjunction with the Team Leader. Conduct quality analysis of registrations, works claim edit and account level work queues and acts as a liaison between the end users and training team.
Requirements
- NYS Department of Civil Service Eligible list or eligible for transfer
- Promotional: You must be a qualified employee of the State University of New York and have had one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service as a Hospital Patient Services Clerk 1 or as a Nursing Station Clerk 1
