About The Position

The Hospital Operations Coordinator is responsible for the leadership on all daily operations within the hospital in the absence of the Operations Manager - Hospital. In addition, they are responsible for delivering on the established Metrics within the contracted agreement, as well as, assisting in the Team Building of the ASSET360 FTE’s. The role includes working with HQC to ensure that equipment is functioning at the highest standards, overseeing equipment flow, maintaining necessary inventory, and investigating nursing staff concerns. The coordinator will implement appropriate courses of action, assist with supervision of HST personnel, and help establish reporting requirements. They will also provide ongoing supervision of all HST personnel, coach staff in problem solving, and work with the Operations Manager to develop career path opportunities for all FTE’s.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Medical or Management experience.
  • Detail oriented with strong computer skills (proficient in Word and Excel).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of communication with all parties.
  • Understanding of the technical and financial side of business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations within the hospital in the absence of the Operations Manager.
  • Deliver on established metrics within the contracted agreement.
  • Assist in team building of ASSET360 FTE’s.
  • Ensure equipment is functioning at the highest standards.
  • Oversee equipment flow and allocate resources.
  • Maintain necessary inventory of equipment and supplies.
  • Investigate nursing staff concerns and implement improvement actions.
  • Supervise HST personnel including training and performance reviews.
  • Establish and administer reporting requirements.
  • Manage staffing schedules based on equipment volume.
  • Foster cooperation among various shifts.
  • Facilitate and deliver HST training manual for employees.
  • Coach staff in problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as patient rounds and equipment deliveries.
