About The Position

SCP Health is a physician-led organization dedicated to transforming health care through innovative models of care, advanced technology, and data-driven insights. Our mission is to enhance care delivery across various health care settings, ensuring that we provide comprehensive clinical offerings that span the entire continuum of care. This includes emergency and hospital-based medicine, telemedicine, intensive care, ambulatory services, and in-home clinical care. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our collaborative approach, where we work together to heal and improve patient outcomes. We are currently seeking board-certified or board-eligible physicians in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine for our Hospitalist positions. The roles available include both daytime and nocturnist positions, with shifts structured as 7a-7p for the day and 7p-7a for the night, each consisting of 12-hour shifts on a 7 on / 7 off schedule. Our program is designed to support our physicians with dedicated daytime admitters who manage the emergency department, allowing our hospitalists to focus on patient care. We are looking for candidates with at least 2-3 years of hospitalist experience, and the Medical Director will be expected to work 10 clinical shifts per month, alongside 80 hours of administrative time monthly. Additionally, we offer a monthly stipend, a commencement bonus, and relocation assistance to the right candidates. Our facility, Capital Regional Medical Center, is a 266-bed acute-care hospital that provides 24/7 emergency services and a variety of specialized services, including a Bariatric Center, Behavioral Health Center, Cancer Center, Chest Pain Center with PCI, Orthopedic/Spine Center, and Heart and Vascular Center. With three freestanding ERs serving the Tallahassee area and seeing over 109,000 patients annually, our hospital has been recognized as one of America's 100 Best Hospitals for Orthopedic Surgery. We are also excited about the upcoming opening of a $23 million Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Center in 2022. Tallahassee, the State Capitol, is known for its rich cultural diversity, vibrant local attractions, and a variety of culinary experiences. It is conveniently located just a short drive from some of Florida's most beautiful beaches. In 2019, Southern Living Magazine recognized Tallahassee as "One of the South's Best Cities." We offer a competitive compensation package, leadership training and development opportunities, and access to SCP University, which provides over 200 hours of free continuing medical education (CME).
