As Director of Medical Operations , I have the privilege of working with an outstanding team of hospitalists and APPs at Sentara Leigh Hospital — professionals who bring skill, integrity, and compassion to every patient encounter. We’re seeking a Nocturnist to join our program in Norfolk, Virginia — someone who values teamwork, clinical excellence, and a balanced practice environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage 8–10 admissions per night from the Emergency Department
- Supported by an on-site APP and Sentara’s e-Hub (7p–2a) for cross-coverage
- Collaborate with specialists in Cardiology, Pulmonary/Critical Care, GI, Surgery, IR, Nephrology, and Thoracic Surgery
- ICU staffed with a dedicated APP and backed by Sentara’s eICU
